i want to lurk and scheme and play – alive, loud and public. i want to imagine a future of dancing together. i’d like to throw myself into the dance amongst you. I’d like to dance in a circle, like children do.
“Fish Spit Feast” is a corporeal song of tension, tenderness and play, exploring (in)visibility and kinship of dancing together. “Fish Spit Feast” is situated within a diasporic playground, full of our own new fictions and old myths. A young dance of mischief, celebration and protection.
